With a life-long love of tinkering, I overhauled my first flute at a workshop in Vermont with flutemaker Jonathan Landell way back in 1994. In 2002 - after a few years of paying the rent with teaching and playing, I joined the talented line-up of flute builders at Verne Q. Powell Flutes in Boston. I have since come back home to Texas, but I continue to do work for Powell. I am now also taking on private clients. I am Straubinger certified and love working on high-end flute models,but I also really enjoy getting intermediate flutes and pre-professional flutes playing just as well as their pricier cousins!
