I learned instrument repair, restoration and building from my father. He passed on his four decades of experience and tooling over to me and I named my shop "NoteAble Repair". The shop became official in 1991 but I have been working on instruments since the age of 10, helping my father and learning 'on the job'. My experience also comes from being a full time player, which gives me a more rounded insight into set up, in particular. repairs extends to any and all work, on practically all string instruments and some brass and woodwind instruments too. I specialize in repair and restoration of acoustic instruments, but electric instruments too are a staple of the work load. Jobs have ranged from highly prized vintage to beginner budget.
